In Orange County, it is unlikely that you will go to jail on a first offense DUI conviction. Unless there are sentencing enhancements, such as injury to another party, excessive speed, reckless driving, children in the car, driving on a suspended license or another type of enhancement or separate charge, then you will probably not be required to do any jail time other than what you did on the night of arrest.
On the other hand, jail is standard on a 2nd or subsequent DUI conviction in Orange County. You may be eligible for jail alternatives such as home confinement, alcohol monitoring or an inpatient program.
